ISABEL MARANT - FALL/WINTER 2010

Those mini fur pelisses together with long ones, sheer chiffon pullovers that look like soft t-shirts, studded ankle boots (the ones I was telling you) and over the knee high-heeled boots, those mini skirts in grey or in printed chiffon and the colours used, I really like it all! Isabel Marant's style seems so comfortable yet nonchalantly elegant.

MODEL STYLE again!

the Chloè bag and the scarf, trés chic

the colours, especially on the left model (who is she by the way???)

the Chanel necklaces

the electric blue dress on Magdalena Frackoviak

the original colourful long cardi (not properly my style so I was a bit doubting...)

the skinny and those amazing shoes paired with a simple take-it-easy sweater

the tuxedo jacket (my kind of outfit)

They're both very well-dressed, the big Chanel is my obsession here and the leather pants wore in that way just seem so wearable!

The look doesn't seem very sought, but shes cute in general. Like the shoes

the training pants matched with high heel booties on the left

the boots are so special (Givenchy, I suppose) and I will always like that Gucci clutch

the grey big balenciaga (even if I prefere the traditional version) and the fringed over the knee boots (where did she get them???)

Her style in general, I like her!

I really don't like this picture very much nor the model, but the paillettes t-shirt caught my attention

CHANEL FRONT ROW

SASHA PIVOVAROVA
I lllove the electric blue Chanel bag!
ANGELA LINDVALL
NATASHA POLY
She's very Gucci from the inside!

RACHEL ZIMMERMAN AND LARA STONE
both very simple yet stylish
COCO ROCHAS
I don't actually like her to be sincere, but the coat is marvellous
This is not a very good period for me (at work and with such rainy days) and the melancholy and frustration I got is reflected in my lack of inspiration.

So I tried to cheer up my dark mood posting these pictures (courtesy of style.com) of some of the best models of the moment, soon after the Chanel catwalk show during fall/winter 2010 Paris fashion week. Even if I don't like each of them, I think their outfits are amazing in different ways. Please click to enlarge them.

MAD ABOUT STELLA

The following pictures from Stella's catwalk show during Fall/Winter Paris fashion week prove why my never-ending love for her has its reasons unless we say that love knows reasons that mind doesn't know (it sounds like this in Italian at least!)...

Let's star with this dress, my favourite exit from the show: it's typically Stella for the colours and the geometric (but not too rigid) print and if you look under it you will realize you cannot survive without those skin-tight knicker-heigh boots (obviously in faux leather)

Many people in the audience were wearing oversized boyfriend jackets matched with skinny pants or leggings and ankle boots or silky jumpsuits, both Stella signature pieces from Stella previous collections. And this show is not going to disappoint any of her affectionated followers: oversized blazers, cocoon-shaped coats (I'd die to have one) and jumpsuits were the real stars of the catwalk again.

I love this creamy/nude blouse with balloon sleeves, soo romantic! and I really like the skinny trousers too with a lace band on the side paired with kind of mens' shoes (the contrast I always look for).

I think this is quite a different outfit for Stella. I like that she tried (with very good results) to make it rock-chicer than she used to. The leather biker jacket (what a great colour!) matched with that beautiful airy purple (the right shade) dress... uhmmmm, I love it!

This is the coat we were talking about before, nothing too particular or noticeable but so beautiful in the purity of the cut and in its semplicity. The tiny belt around the waist makes it more up-to-date and the buttoned high neck is very elegant and gives a bit of mystery to it. No comment about the boots: they're fabulous!

Fall/Winter 2009-2010 Best Dresses

the Gucci sparkling dress
matched with black leggings

the Givenchy white lace dress
(love the balloon effect of the skirt and the so-now shoulder pads in a contrasting colour)

Balmain - TO DIE FOR!

Lanvin
(lady-like with ruffles and ankle boots)

Herve Leger
one shoulder dress with padded shoulder

WHICH OF THESE DRESSES WILL BE THE STAR OF FALL/WINTER 2010?

PREEN 2010 Fall/Winter - the looks that I love -

Love the mongolia coat (furs will be a big trend this winter too) belted at the waist and the big piedepul pattern dress matched with suede over the knee boots.
Big shoulders and black & white
The shape of the coat, peg cropped leather trousers (never seen) and black & white sheer top, what a great combination! This is certainly my favourite exit from this catwalk show.
