This is not a very good period for me (at work and with such rainy days) and the melancholy and frustration I got is reflected in my lack of inspiration.

So I tried to cheer up my dark mood posting these pictures (courtesy of style.com) of some of the best models of the moment, soon after the Chanel catwalk show during fall/winter 2010 Paris fashion week. Fashion is my life, from runway shows to celebrity style, to the pure joy of putting things together - I love it all!

For me, fashion is all about INDIVIDUALITY - It doesn't matter how much you paid for a piece, who designed it or where you bought it, it's more about how you feel and the way you are wearing it. And DETAILS are so important to define style. A frilly top under a dark boyfriend jacket or a foulard wrapped around a handbag, a pair of lace feminine tights under ripped acid skinny jeans, the way a trench belt is tied around the waist could transform every outfit, making a tacky piece looking expensive, original, creative and fashionable. It's no more about the clothes themselves. It's about us.
And this is what CHICCHERIE means to me.
