Alber Elbaz s/s collection is full of technical hits. He has completely proved how a great Maestro he is (not that he needed to) in drapes, pleats (plissè), ruffles, soft quilting. Not mentioning the dramatic shower of bright candy colours as pink, salmon and peach. At the beginning of the show, it was all about the black Lanvin who already knew, but then theshow was becoming more and more incredible and breathtaking.
The designer himself admitted that he've experienced some technical difficulties in handling the polyester, making lots and lots of ruffles and also layering 2 dresses to create a whole one like a real magician.
Absolutely my favourite Lanvin collection of all times. All these divine colourful dresses wore by beautiful models walking on kilometres and kilometres of catwalk with very few lights under an impressive ArtDeco chandelier took me directly into a fairytale.
