HARPER'S BAZAAR US/MARCH 2010: KATE MOSS BY PETER LINDBERG

I've started to find Kate a bit old for modelling - she's got more wrinkles and a tired face than every other 90s top model like Claudia or Naomi, maybe because of her not-so-healthy wild life -

even if still following her as a fashion icon, but this editorial - and I'm usually also not a big fan of US fashion magazines - gives her a new life. She very glamourous and stunning.

what is fashion to me???

Fashion is my life, from runway shows to celebrity style, to the pure joy of putting things together - I love it all!

For me, fashion is all about INDIVIDUALITY - It doesn't matter how much you paid for a piece, who designed it or where you bought it, it's more about how you feel and the way you are wearing it. And DETAILS are so important to define style. A frilly top under a dark boyfriend jacket or a foulard wrapped around a handbag, a pair of lace feminine tights under ripped acid skinny jeans, the way a trench belt is tied around the waist could transform every outfit, making a tacky piece looking expensive, original, creative and fashionable. It's no more about the clothes themselves. It's about us.
And this is what CHICCHERIE means to me.
