NICE TO MEET YOU BARBARA MARTELO

My last finding in the world of fashion editors/stylists is this not-so-well-known girl of 32 years who is a fashion stylist for Vogue Spain. Her name is Barbara Martelo and she is really addicted to skinny leather pants, high heels and, tah-dah, BALMAIN (especially the jackets).

I WISH I HAD GIOVANNA'S WARDROBE

I know that this post will be seen as one of the usual posts from fashionistas and probably it is but, since I use this blog as my inspiration e-book I coudn't help not posting images of Giovanna Battaglia's looks as she has a unique sense of style which I really admire. For the ones who still don't know her, she is the fashion editor of Vogue Uomo Italia and used to be one of D&G models for a lot of time (this is where her beautiful long pair of legs comes from).

I'm afraid I got a big girl crush on her, despite I don't find her very attractive, I'm totally in love about the fact that she wears whatever she likes in the most glamorous way I've seen around.

She's a goddess and such an inspiration to me.

PRICELESS Movie Trailer

This movie is really nice! Love the character of Miss Tautou, Amelie, and her outfits are amazing! If you got 2 hours and just want to chill out a bit (and you love fashion, of course), I would strongly reccommend this movie. Easy yet very stylish. Enjoy!

A NEW INSPIRATION BOARD

This picture is surely form NYC (because of the Braneys shopping bag) and I like how the twins (?) are wearing very simple pieces but in a way that makes them look so stylish.

Black & white combination always wins! Love the cropped pants and the gladiator-style sandals (not too much coverage)

This would be one of my most wearable outfit: the acid ripped skinny jeans I adore plus the boyfriend long jacket and the sandals... huh, glamorous!

This photo proves how a chanel 2.55 bag can make every outfit! Match it with slim cropped jeans, a simple grey (I love grey!) sweater and high heeled shoes and it's a chinc!

If you click on both pictures you'll what caught my attention here... the tights! they are very feminine, especially on a rainy day!

the girl on the left wears JBrand Lovestory jeans (which I have in 3 different colors!) paired with a long cardigan and a simple white t-shirt, and the one on the right with skinny grey jeans, a fitted black jacket and a neon yellow scarf (which makes the difference). Both are outfits that I usually wear.

Like the layering of a long cardigan/coat with a biker cropped leather jacket. First time I see this combination in a so stylish way.

The mesh black top hummm... I like it! especially if paired with cropped suit trousers and black striped sandals as she does! Wanna try it asap!

I have never been tempted by one of those checked boyfriend shirt since a week ago when I bought a cheap one from Topshop... I love seeing it on other fashionable girls but I don't know yet if I will like it on me... I'll see in a couple of days, I'll let you know!

By the way, I like the fact that this one on the picture is longer on the back than on the front and that is matched with that beautiful long scarf and the Fendi boots.

The last but not the least! I coudn't show a Balenciaga weekender bag, could I? The girl is so power suiting and that bag (together with the fact that she turned up her pants)gives her a flash of "I know what to wear and how to wear it" look even if it is all so serious.

Fashion is my life, from runway shows to celebrity style, to the pure joy of putting things together - I love it all!

For me, fashion is all about INDIVIDUALITY - It doesn't matter how much you paid for a piece, who designed it or where you bought it, it's more about how you feel and the way you are wearing it. And DETAILS are so important to define style. A frilly top under a dark boyfriend jacket or a foulard wrapped around a handbag, a pair of lace feminine tights under ripped acid skinny jeans, the way a trench belt is tied around the waist could transform every outfit, making a tacky piece looking expensive, original, creative and fashionable. It's no more about the clothes themselves. It's about us.
And this is what CHICCHERIE means to me.
