Sorry everybody not to have been posting the looks of the week anymore but I got tired of reading about them everywhere on the web and also a bit bored of loooking around for them. This week I decided to post just the two looks that caught my attention by chance, while googleing around.

Rosie Huntington Whitley - what a romantic chic cutie!

CAROLINE BROMST: WHAT A DISCOVERY!

Thank God bloggers do exist! I found out about this chic redhead, beautiful fashion editor from Sweden and I was very pleasantly surprised by her rock-chic looks. If you have the occasion to visit her pages at http://caroline.feber.se/ u'll also see that most of the pieces she wears come from high-street brands like Zara and Hm, apart from some amazing bags (Balenciaga, 2.55 and Prada) and a pair of amazing Alexander Wang boots (Erin Wasson's). She mixes luxury and high street very well and even cheap pieces do not look tacky on her. Such an inspiration!

FENDI S/S 2010 PARIS SHOW

Karl Lagerfeld surpassed himself designing this s/s collection for Fendi.

Colours like ivory, nude, ecru and pastels were the first things that caught my attention, but what I liked the most was this romantic-chic Parisian twist he added to all pieces and to the general atmosphere of the show.

Tulle, frills and hand-carried bags, bondage sky-high platform shoes and the lingerie mood contributed to make it dreaming and sensuous in a chic way, far from being raunchy or risquè.

And I absolutely loved the transparent perspex evening clutches (completely empty, obviously they are not designed to be useless).

GIVENCHY PARIS S/S 2010 SHOW

Black & white, geometric cuts, graphic jackets, draping, bondage platform wedges and soft harem pants are just some of the incredible pieces of Mr. Tisci's Paris show.
Prints remember the kaffiyeh scarf as it was said and the raised waist even made models look taller, whose legs seemed endless, also helped by the skyscraper wedges in leather or tulle for evenings. Every outfit is a piece of haute couture but at the same time they are all very weareable.
It was for sure one of my favourite shows of the season, together with Lavin's and Fendi's.

PFW STREET STYLE AND FRONT ROW

Dasha Zhuhova and Charlotte Casiraghi at Stella McCartney

Giovanna Battaglia - I like the colour of the top -

Laura Bailey dressed in Stella McCartney(love that nude blouse!) @ Stella show

Anna Dello Russo attending the Givenchy show

Anna Wintour @ Lanvin

Anouk Lepere at "The Purple" party
Anja Rubik out of the Chloè show

Edita - she's lovely anyway!

Delfina Delettrez Fendi - her look is amazing! I tought the Vuitton bunny ears were really ridicolous but when I saw them on her, so well-paired with the other pieces, I found them just perfect! I woudn't wear them just to take a walk in the morning or for a night out tough. Maybe for a party... what a great outstanding idea to get noticed!

Like her feather skirt! I think Zara sells a quite similar one, I should go and buy it for my Paris weekend at the end of October...

A ballet skirt wore with riding boots? What a great idea!

KATE MOSS LOOKS PFW: SHE'S STILL GOT IT!

For those who haven't seen her pictures in Paris yet, here they are, proving that she never fails when it comes to true, understated, chic style. She always rules!

First day in Paris, coming out from L'Avenue restaurant with always glued to her Jamie Hince (love her bag!)

Attending Miu Miu show, truly love this dress and particularly the accessories she matched (Alaia studded belt and sky-high patent Louboutin pumps)

At YSL show

This was a look I was not expecting to see... I would have tought the dress was too big and shapeless to look good on her but I saw it I just liked it. I found her very chic but in a different way from anybody else, as always!

LANVIN ALBER ELBAZ AND HIS DREAM DRESSES

Alber Elbaz s/s collection is full of technical hits. He has completely proved how a great Maestro he is (not that he needed to) in drapes, pleats (plissè), ruffles, soft quilting. Not mentioning the dramatic shower of bright candy colours as pink, salmon and peach.
At the beginning of the show, it was all about the black Lanvin who already knew, but then theshow was becoming more and more incredible and breathtaking.
The designer himself admitted that he've experienced some technical difficulties in handling the polyester, making lots and lots of ruffles and also layering 2 dresses to create a whole one like a real magician.
Absolutely my favourite Lanvin collection of all times. All these divine colourful dresses wore by beautiful models walking on kilometres and kilometres of catwalk with very few lights under an impressive ArtDeco chandelier took me directly into a fairytale.
THANK YOU ALBER
